Where are you located? My band recorded this summer with Bart Thurber @
house of faith studios in oakland. He did a very good job and he was
about $180 for about a 12 hr day of recording and mixing (not including
the reel-to-reel and DAT, it came out to $260 total, but it was well
worth it). We're looking to go back into the studio soon to lay down 4
or 5 new songs and rerecord some older ones. Do you have any mp3's of
bands that you have recorded so I can get an idea of the quality? We're
severly poor, the band can't really support itself yet and we're stuck
in the valley here in California right now, any information on that
would be really helpful!
